Created in 2009 at Ecole des Mines in Nantes, this chair brings together the Foundation and the main stakeholders in the nuclear waste sector, namely ANDRA (the French agency for radioactive waste management), EDF and AREVA.

Sustainability of Materials and Structures for Energy Generation Chair
Created in 2008 and carried by Ecole des Mines ParisTech and Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, the Chair enjoys the support of EDF, GDF-SUEZ and GRTgaz.
The Chair develops teaching missions for Masters programmes and for the specific training provided at the Material Ageing Institute, whose research centre was created in 2009.
Saint-Venant Chair of Hydraulics and the Environment
Created in 2008 in partnership with Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées to explore the details and processes involved in hydraulics, engineering structures and sedimentary trends. Christened the Adhémar Barré de Saint Venant Chair, it was created in January 2008 at the initiative of Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and its foundation, with the support of EDF.
The Chair explores the ups and down and the processes involved in hydraulics, engineering structures and sedimentary trends.
Sustainable Energies Chair
Nuclear and Renewable Energies, in partnership with the Ecole Polytechnique (http://www.polytechnique.fr/). Created in 2008 in partnership with EDF, the European foundation for tomorrow's energies and the Fondation de l'Ecole Polytechnique, the Sustainable Energies Chair is particularly active within the context of the 3rd year teaching programme at the Ecole Polytechnique, focusing on the "Energies of the 20th Century".

The Foundation contributes to the development and promotion of energy training by encouraging the establishment of new partnerships and the introduction of concrete plans of action at engineering schools and universities in France and around the world.

The aim of the European foundation for tomorrow's energies is to make a high level contribution to higher education.
The Foundation invites key figures renowned for their expertise and their ability to contribute in a concrete manner to the issues involved in energy-related training.
Scientific Board
At the core of the Foundation's processes. Composed of scientists, industrialists and instructors, the Scientific Board provides the initiative for actions and orientations taken by the Foundation: creation of energy training courses, partnerships with engineering schools and universities, aid and funding, etc.
Ensures alignment between programmes and needs, along with project excellence.
