To train

The Specialised Masters in Large-Scale Civil Engineering works in Energy will take in its first students in September 2010

The construction of new energy works in France and abroad (nuclear power plants, wind turbine farms, dams, etc.) and the maintenance of existing works require highly trained civil engineers. These engineers will be trained in both project management and sub-contracting and will be able to adapt to international working environments. The Specialised Masters in Large-Scale Civil Engineering works in Energy was created to meet these needs. It was developed by top engineering schools Ecole Centrale Paris and Ecole des Ponts Paristech in conjunction with a number of companies working in the energy and civil engineering sectors such as EDF, Bouygues, Eiffage, Vinci, etc.
The curriculum covers the following four main areas: structure calculation, life cycle and maintenance of energy works, specialised dynamics for energy works, environment and energy, project management, methods and features specific to the construction of energy works.
